Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, ZenFone Max Pro M2, ZenFone Max M2 to receive the latest April 15 update of Android Pie

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, ZenFone Max Pro M2, and ZenFone Max M2 will eventually receive the expected Android 9.0 Pie upgrade by Apr 15, the Taiwanese firm declared on Saturday while apologising for missing its guaranteed release window. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 was previously to receive the Google Android Pie upgrade last month, although The ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 were initially slated to get the newest Android version in January. Beta updates based on Android Pie were rolled out to the ZenFone Max Pro M1 and the ZenFone Max Pro M2 from the recent past.

We will be releasing the Google Android Pie update latest by Apr 15, 2019, for Max M2, confirms Dinesh Sharma, Head of Mobile Business, in a video posted on the official Facebook page of Asus India. As we mentioned, the Google Android Pie upgrade for the ZenFone Max Pro M2 13, 486 and ZenFone Max M2 8, 499 was due in January, just a month after their launching in India back in December. Asus also guaranteed the Android Pie upgrade for the ZenFone Max Pro M1 9, 199 for February. The excess time taken post the previously announced date of release will be to make the Google Android Pie upgrade deliver a far better experience.

We assure you that our teams are working around the clock to obtain the Google Android Pie across in the first possible, and I am sure the wait will be worthwhile, Sharma points out. At the meantime, users may take part in the ongoing Android Pie user beta program. The initiative, which is designed especially for power users who're open to face problems And report bugs knowingly, was launched for the ZenFone Max Pro M2 last month, even though a comparable program is available for the ZenFone Max Pro M1 since early this month. Participants at the Google Android Pie User Beta program need to provide info, like the International Mobile Equipment Identity, sequential number, and current firmware of their devices for beta testing. Applications for participating in the program could be submitted throughout the Asus website. Earlier this week, Asus released a new firmware over the air updates for the ZenFone Max Pro M2 and the ZenFone Max M2 in India that brought the Feb 2019 Android security patch.
