NAGA CITY, Camarines Sur - Mayor John Bongat of Naga City signed an executive order on Friday, ordering all of school administrators or directors of public elementary and high schools within the city to ban the use of electronic gadgets during class hours. In his EO No. 2019-010, Bongat explained that the use of mobile phones along with other electronic gadgets won't be permitted within the classrooms during class hours allowed by the concerned tutor for educational purposes. It's come to the attention of the City Government of Naga that there are students in private and public elementary and high school in the City of Naga who're bring their electronic gadgets like cellular smartphones tablets and comparable gadgets within their classrooms and utilize the same during class hours.
